Kayla is currently completing her Master of Health Ethics, where her graduate work focuses on conflict in healthcare settings. With a background focused on human healthcare, she is excited to broaden her experience into the animal healthcare space and combine her professional interests with a longstanding love of animals.

Animals have always been a significant part of Kayla's life, giving her an appreciation for animals of all kinds and for the special relationships people share with their pets. She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the care and recovery of animals and support the people who care for them.

Outside of Four Paws and graduate studies, Kayla spends most of her time with her floofy dog, Theodora, and enjoys getting out and appreciating the city on foot, along with its many great restaurants and coffee shops.
