We had the privilege of welcoming Ema to the Four Paws team in 2022. Ema has always fostered a love and appreciation for animals. Being an athlete since her childhood, Ema spent as much time in the ER as on the court. If not for the quality rehab she received, Ema wouldn’t have returned to the court as fast, so it only seemed natural that she provide the same treatment to animals in need.

 

In 2015, she graduated from Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician program. She later graduated from Northern College’s Companion Animal Physical Rehabilitation program with honors. In 2021, Ema received her Canine Rehabilitation certification from the University of Tennessee.

 

In her spare time, Ema visits schools and nursing homes with her registered therapy dog Ellie. In between hikes with Ellie and baking for friends, she enjoys photography and buying bowties for her two cats, Billy-Rae and Bubs.

She looks forward to caring for the wonderful clients and patients at Four Paws!
